General Session Presenters
Stephanie Nobles-Bean: Called a "Voice of Thunder," Stephy Nobles-Beans brings to the world her definite calling as a motivational speaker. An ordained minister/evangelist, exhorter as well as an encourager, she uplifts our spirits beyond our wildest imagination. She has just released her first book of poetry entitled: “Dipped in Chocolate All Over Again, Poetry from a Woman of Color with a Chocolate Soul.”
Dr. Katie Arnette: A distinguished alumnus of both Oakwood Academy in Huntsville, Alabama and Southeastern Louisiana University and acksonville Theological Seminary where she received a doctoral degree in Clinical Christian Psychology. She has penned her personal life motto in a highly acclaimed, new release, “Ever Rising: From Tragedy and Pain to Triumph and Gain”, which is being distributed internationally by the Review and Herald Publishing Association.
Dr. Mable Dunbar: Mable C. Dunbar, Ph.D., is president of Polly's Place Network, Women's Ministries Director/Family Life Educator, Director of the Counseling Center of the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and Executive Director of Patty’s Healing Center. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and Certified Domestic Violence Counselor. She is author of “The Truth About You.”
Denine K. Hilbert, is a successful Christian business woman and Realtor in beautiful North Idaho. She has been married to her husband, Gary for 17 years, and they have 4 beautiful children. Denine was born and raised in Southern California, and is the youngest of 2 children. She comes from a background of childhood sexual abuse and the trauma that those experiences produce. She attributes her road to recovery to the healing grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Denine’s motivational speaking and the experiences she shares bear witness of our divine heritage, our eternal worth, and the love of God for all his children no matter what their trials and experiences in life. She has an unusual ability to share her thoughts and help women see God's transforming power. She will tell-it-like-it-is and share with you with disarming transparency and refreshing authenticity while challenging the pre-conceived notions about survivors of abuse. She will show how we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Denine helps others see what it takes to be an empowered, successful, woman God can use.
About “Being There” Conference
The Being There conference is designed to provide healing, education, and relevant information for individuals who have either experienced abuse or want to provide help and support for victims of abuse. Our vision is to Help Empower Abused Lives. Seminars and presentations are planned for women, men, and young adults, with joint devotional sessions and a concert by the Altino Brothers. The conference will also give each attendant the opportunity to participate in prayer, an anointing service, networking opportunities, collaboration and group discussions.
