The responsibility for protecting our children from sex offenders rests with us, not with children alone. Until we join forces publicly, our society will continue to miscalculate offender violence, persist in enabling offenders by doubting children, and fail to report offenders to law enforcement. This conference is for individuals who wants to reduce the incidences and toleration for child victimization.

“I believe that there is a devil, and here’s Satan’s agenda. First, he doesn’t want anyone having kids. Secondly, if they do conceive, he wants them killed. If they’re not killed through abortion, he want them neglected and abused physically, emotionally, sexually. One way or another the legions of hell want to destroy children because children become the future adults and leaders. If they can warp or wound a child, he or she becomes a warped or wounded adult who passes on this affliction to the next generation. ”

Morning Session:

“Selection, Engagement & Seduction of Children”

Go to the heart of the problem. See with your own eyes multiple videotaped interviews with offenders, hear their specific strategies used to seduce and manipulate child victims and the “grooming” tactics they employ within their own families and the community at large. These behaviors, which make offending easier, gets in the way of families, churches and schools identifying and reporting crimes. Discuss the impact on prevention, investigation, prosecution and containment, especially as they relate to families, schools and the faith community.

Afternoon Session:

“Prevention: Advice from Child Molesters”

Explore the benefits of expanding prevention efforts to include community education for adults, especially parents and adult caretakers of young children, educators, the faith community, social services and law enforcement professionals. Learn practical risk management and prevention techniques, how to respond to disclosures about abuse and sexual behavior problems among children, and available resources for developing community prevention programs.
